Bio: Charlie Barnes was born in Makati, Philippines. After attendance at the International School in Makati, Charlie moved to California. Charlie attended Glendale College where he played football and majored in Art. In 2003, after balancing employment and his ambition to further his education, he finished his Baccalaureate of Science degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of California. In 1997, Charlie succeeded in fulfilling his artistic endeavors with the establishment of CFX. Artistic recognition was quickly achieved with winning numerous state, regional, and national level RC concourse competitions. His artistic success continued with his authoring articles for multiple major publications and websites. Amongst a long list of accomplishments, Charlie also worked for KNB Effects,Optic Nerver Studios, and XFX Studios. CFX Paintworks features cutting edge designs and custom artistic creations. With precision and detail beyond comparison, CFX’s unique works of art lead the RC painting community. For this level of precision and detail, CFX exclusively uses Iwata airbrushes.
