Follow along as Steve Driscoll teaches his many years of experience in this jam packed portrait video. With the use of the Createx Wicked colors and some tools such as an electric eraser, sable brush, Exacto blades and an Airbrush, you will learn to create depth and life like portraits. Use these techniques with all of your portraits to create flawless realistic paintings. He explains the use of his Flesh Tone set and how to utilize and manipulate the colors to achieve realistic skin tones, hair details and shadowing. You may also use other paints than used in this video to follow along and apply the skills he teaches.

Bio: Steve Driscoll is one of the top airbrush artists in the country. He is self taught, and has the incredible ability to render things in a super photo-realistic manner. His first studio was in Las Vegas, where he did T-Shirts, portraits, and some automotive custom painting. In 1994 he started teaching canvas painting for Airbrush Action Magazine. Soon after that he moved to Chicago, and started a new studio there, where one of his top clients were Washburn Guitars and Nike Basketball. He then moved his studio to his home state of Minnesota. He splits his time between his art studio and working on automotive projects with his partner, Tracy Hilgers of TJ Design.

Great video.
As all videos from coastairbrushtv this one also is of a top quality for viewing. Very informative video for beginners as well as advanced. Contains lots of useful info on mixing colors on a portrait, the effect of overlayed colors, shading, highlighting and excellent tips about creating depth. Definitely worth it's price. Though the techniques and tips offered here are enough to take portraits to a better level when someone puts more hours in it, I would prefer if Driscol have done it in this video , even in being at the end longer in duration and more pricey, perhaps another time.

Outstanding. Steve's teaching style is laid back but easy to follow and understand. After watching his videos I actually feel that I may bee able to do this myself!

Two Thumbs Up!
I have purchased several videos from coast airbrush and enjoyed them all. Their videos are easy to down load and in a short time your instruction videos are yours to view over and over again. I have several videos of Steve Driscolls and this video is very informative, pointing you the student, in the right direction to start your on portrait project.

Excellent!
I've seen many of Steve's offerings over the years. He never disappoints. Love the Wicked Flesh Tone kit and Wicked in general. Great vid. The only thing I would like to see on all these vids would be a "Real Time" grand total at the end for project completion and maybe a picture in picture continuous shot of the reference while watching.
