Bio: Steven James Vandemon was born and raised in Southern California. Best known for his insane graphics and flames on hotrods and choppers, his work can be seen all over the world. Having absolutely no formal art education , Steve has developed a unique approach to his work. Utilizing various faux finishing techniques along with unorthodox drawing and painting methods he has developed a style which is easily identifiable in a relatively short period of time. In addition to his custom paint-jobs, Steve’s paintings and sculptures are highly sought after by collectors world-wide.   Steve does an excellent job at presenting the viewer with great inside techniques about creating a custom illustration job. From prepping the surface , spraypainting water born paints, to drawing...everything gets covered. I enjoyed this 2 part video a lot.
